Results: First And Premier Division Football
Football fans saw a double header played at the Devonshire Recreation Club last night [Sept 28] with Paget Lions taking on St. David’s, and Wolves playing the Devonshire Cougars.
In the first game of the night, St. David’s kept their unbeaten streak alive with a 5 – 0 win over the Paget Lions. Angelo Cannonier opened the scoring for the Warriors.
Tre Govia doubled the lead and then Shakil Robinson made it 3 – 0 before the break. In the second half St. David’s got goals from Aaron Crockwell and Fiqre Crockwell as they defeated the Paget Lions 5 – 0.
In the nightcap, Wolves continued to impress in the early season with a 3-3 draw with the Devonshire Cougars. Wolves got two goals from Derek Brangman and a single strike from Kyle Brangman, while the Devonshire Cougars got single strikes from Korvon Tucker, Drewonde Bascome and Chea Brangman.
