Two Men Snatch Chain From Motorcyclist’s Neck

September 13, 2012

On Tuesday [Sept 11] a 24-year-old man was riding a motorcycle along Dundonald Street when two men on another motorcycle rode past, with the pillion passenger snatching the victim’s chain from his neck.

A police spokesperson said: “It appears that around 5:30pm on Tuesday, September 11th a 24 year old Hamilton parish man was riding a motorcycle along Dundonald Street in Pembroke near the BIU gas station when two unknown men on another motorcycle rode past, with the pillion passenger snatching the Hamilton parish man’s chain from his neck.

“Both suspects then continued traveling along Dundonald Street, making good their escape. The pillion passenger and main suspect is described as a light brown skinned male of slim build wearing a dark coloured helmet and visor, with dark coloured jeans and white sneakers.

“The area was apparently busy with traffic at the time of the incident and any witnesses or anyone with any information is encouraged to contact Detective Constable Tiffany Caisey at the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.”

Parkside! Straight to Cash for Gold smh

    • Tommy Chong says:

Yup! But BPS keep going after every one except. Things that make me go HMMMMMM!

      • Mr. B says:

Gold standard would never accept it.. Trust me on that one..

        • Tommy Chong says:

They don’t need to take it to gold standard they’ll just take it to a dealer & trade it for drugs or cash. Once in the dealers hands they have many options from shystie dentist who won’t ask & happily make them a set of grillz to shystie jewelers who’d melt it down to add to a pendant then there’s the option to take it on a trip to places with loads of pawn shops that couldn’t care less where it came from.

  2. These fools better make sure they dont attempt this in front of the wrong person, the out come night just be a little different.

You cant even spell might ..might be night for u lol

  3. Tommy Chong says:

Depending which direction the two freaks were traveling on dundonald there are only a few areas they could have cut off to & some of these would have lead them past a video camera. Maybe BPS should check the footage & look for suspects that way if they haven’t yet.

From now on I’m carrying a nice size rock in my pocket & making sure my bike stays fast enough so that if I get anything snatched off of me I can catch up & use my Aroldis Chapman pitch on them & could give damn if they deck & break their necks.

  4. me says:

this has been happening for sometime now the police are simply dumb.

    • Tommy Chong says:

At least now they’ve gotten more descriptive with their details & not just put a bulletin out on someone dark, wearing dark cloths on a dark bike. Still could do better by describing the bike further & helmet type all they need is a basic portfolio of all the helmets & bikes sold on island so the victim can point out the closest type to what they saw.

  6. say it like it is. says:

disgusting, poor guy. Don;t you remember when you used to go to New York, they’d say don;t wear any gold? Same thing here, just 20 years later.

  7. Amazed says:

I am still wondering why the BPS have not yet started a “clean sweep” type of attack on these thugs, whereby they go house to house searching these suspected gang members homes. They always claim in court that they are “known” so what is preventing BPS from dealing with this situation more aggressively?

What relic still wears chains ?

  9. theothersidebda says:

It used to be “well, who told you to be out at 3am anyway?”, then it was “note to self: do not drive down Harbour road when it’s dark” and now it’s become “I need to look over my shoulder on my 5pm commute?” These guys are just getting way too brazen now. Pretty soon you won’t be able to walk down the street to grab lunch in town. Sad sad sad.
