The PLP announced its schedule of speakers for its Annual Delegates’ Conference, and said for three of the four nights, they are opening the doors to the public and inviting all Bermudians to “stand strong with the party that stands strong for them”.

    Election’s going to be announced?!….

  3. Concerned says:

“stand strong with the party that stands strong for them”. Standing strong on Race – it is only them that is holding their people bondage with that – over and gone with the wind. Move ON! Now when you can say that they have stood strong in our Economy (jobs, housing, salaries, new businesses, cost of living dropped), Education (curriculum (I don’t mean changing and chopping and misleading parents/students. We now have the Cambridge Curriculum – keep a close eye on it), teachers), Cost of Health for seniors and HIP, Cost of Hospital including the Special Wards for stroke victims and other patients, Hospital needs more specialised staff badly, Tourism and I don’t mean a singing, double lipped (oh I slipped) Tourism Minister who loves to walk the walk but continues to fall short in his duties. Infrastructure – roads, historical buildings, PTB, Marine and Ports, street lights outside of each school and the list goes on and on – check to see what we had in place before the PLP became Government against what we have now – DOWN HILL ALl the way and not a bit at a time – we tumbled and slid.

  4. No White People says:

    White People need not RSVP.

    lol

  5. It only hurts when I breathe..... says:

@ No White People – as a white person I find your comment unnecessary. How about ‘people who like our policies and our party should RSVP’….or something like that….. More racial division or pointless comments is NOT NEEDED right now – There has been more than enough of that to last most of us for a lifetime. Keep it on track with policies and if you like a particular party’s politics and policies – Not the colour of the skin of the folk representing any particular party. It is content and intregrity not colour. Thank you.

    • No White People says:

Take it easy, it was only a joke.

Jeeze, people get so sensitive around election time.

    • Um jus sayin.... says:

Thank you…joke or not…enough already!!! Why don’t you try and attend…might learn a thing or to before passing judgment.

      • No White People says:

I wasn’t passing judgment at all.

Welcome to the internet, must be your first time here.
Be careful, there are way worse jokes out there than the one I said.

      • No White People says:

Besides, if the PLP can say “a vote for UBP is a vote back to the plantation” I call it fair game.

        • IQ says:

You should know that just because you think its a joke does’t mean everyone will agree with you! Nor do they have to!

  6. tidbit says:

THEY HAVE HAD 14 YEARS TO TURN BERMUDA AROUND! OOPS, THEY DID TURN IT AROUND,BUT IN THE WRONG DIRECTION. I WOULDNT WASTE MY TIME OR MONEY TO GO AND HEAR THOSE JOKERS END UP BASHING THE OBA FOR THE MISTAKES THAT THE PLP HAS MADE. YOU CANT FOOL THIS BLACK MAN! THE ONLY GOOD THING THEY COULD DO IS COME OUT OF THAT CONFERENCE WITH A R HORTON/T. LISTER LEADERSHIP!

    • Truth (Original) says:

      Robert Horton and Terry Lister?

Wow. That’s more of the same mate. The PLP needs time in opposition to clear the ranks of everyone just hanging for for a paycheck.

  7. Vote For Me & Ill Set You Free says:

PLP you don’t know what your doing!! Your trying to play with the voters with your star appearances of your candidates talking sh#t on the talk shows before an election. I must admit very crafty move. But its a Damn joke.
