‘Art On The Town’ To Be Held On Feb 3
The Art on the Town Art and Craft Market is celebrating the ‘month of love’ with its monthly craft market on February 3 in St. George. Located outside CV Cafe and Somers Wharf, the market has grown to include almost 20 vendors, all boasting handmade/designed in Bermuda items.
The market takes place from 11 am until 3 pm on the first Sunday of every month this year. Rain date the following Sunday. Members include Carole Harrison Havercroft, Chrissy Hind, Tricia Walters, Lexy Correia, Donna Fubler, Amanda Wilson, Moniz Made, Kelli Thompson, Alan Murray, Shadeed Givens, Rene and Milton Hill, Rose Marie West, Nicola Lucas, Annette Dickinson, Jayne Benevides, Lloyd Webb, Anne Kermode, Lisa Greene, to mention but a few.
Items range from art and photography to handmade toys, jewellery, books, seasonal gifts and even baked goodies. Organiser Tricia Walters hopes to put St. George’s on the map as the Art and Craft capital of Bermuda and give locals and visitors an opportunity to enjoy the old town on a Sunday, as many restaurants and even some shops remain open on market days.
