BNA Junior & Senior League Netball Results
The Bermuda Netball Association’s League Season continued at the Bernard Park this past weekend, with games being played in the Under/12, Under/15, and Senior League divisions.
Under 12 Division
The Young Men Social Club Baby Bluebirds defeated the Netts Green.
Under 15 Division
The Young Men Social Club Younguns defeated the North Village Rams 18 – 16. Dameque Daniels and Satashie Rogers both scored 9 Goals for the Young Men Social Club Younguns, while Xah-Niyah Hunt scored 7 Goals for the North Village Rams, while Zhanae Simmons added 5 Goals and Breana Swainson scored 4 Goals.
The Netts White defeated the Netts Green 27 – 7, Donnauri Robinson led the Netts Whites to victory with 13 Goals, while Micah Pond added 8 Goals and Nia Dailey scored 6 Goals. Debre Evans scored 4 Goals for the Netts Green, while Inshane Smith scored 3 Goals.
Senior League First Division
The Game of the Day saw WWC Panthers take on the Young Men Social Club Lady Blue Birds, this game went goal for goal the first quarter. Lady Bluebird then took the lead and went on to win 43 – 28.
Danielle Raynor scored 23 Goals to lead the Young Men Social Club Lady Blue Birds to victory, while Ebonie Burgess scored 20 Goals. Kirstin Saltus scored 14 Goals for the WWC Panthers, who also got 8 Goals from Darrika Simons and 6 Goals from Wenda Roberts.
The Signworx Netts and the SS Tigers had a battle that saw each team leading several times throughout each quarter with the Signworx Netts edging the SS Tigers 34 – 33.
Danielle Onyia scored 30 Goals for the Signworx Netts, while Amali Smith scored 3 Goals and Shivaughn Lee scored once. Rose Richardson scored 17 Goals for the SS Tigers, while Jahture Trott scoed 16 Goals.
Senior League Second Division
After the North Village Lady Rams Too upset win over North Village Lady Rams last week an expected good game was expected between the North Village Lady Rams Too and the Young Men Social Club Blazzin Bluebirds. However with a few players absent from Lady Rams Too this week, the Blazzin Bluebirds dominated coming out on to 36 – 9. The SS Tigers edged Robin Hood 25 – 24 in the other game.
