Zimmerman Wins Challenge Tournament
Mike Zimmerman was victorious taking the crown in the Miller Challenge Handicap Snooker Tournament!
Zimmerman defeated JaCal Washington in a race to three games to claim the title. Although Zimmerman won the first two games Washington fought back to win the third game forcing them to go to game four.
The first game went down to the black ball with the score ending 62-59, Zimmerman needed to sink the pink ball to take the second game 62-40. Washington won the third game 60-52 and Zimmerman closed the match with a game of 81-44.
In the double elimination tournament the quarter finals saw Timmy Sousa defeat Mike Zimmerman, putting Zimmerman into the losers bracket. Steven Bremar also defeated JaCal Washington landing Washington into the losers bracket. The semi finals saw Washington defeat Bremar and Zimmerman defeat Sousa.
The next Miller Tournament is scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 19th, 2013, at Sandys Boat Club and Watford Sports Club.
