Lecture On Black Innovators And Inventions
In celebration of Black History Month, historian Melodye Micëre Van Putten will be shining the spotlight on the many contributions of people of African descent to world civilisation.
From open heart surgery to new agricultural techniques to the first modern refrigeration system, black innovators have been on the cutting edge of advances in a wide variety of fields.
Ms Van Putten’s lecture, entitled “Global African Inventions”, will be held on Thursday [Feb.28] at Christ Church, Warwick from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. Light refreshments will be served

Funds raised will be used to partially support the Bermuda Overseas Mission to India in 2013.
Ms. VanPutten, Africologist, why India when there are great needs on the continent of Africa – our mother/father/sister/brotherland. We need to mind our own affairs because we are tagging behind the rest of the world – suffering and dying along the way.
