Former Mexican President Speaks In Bermuda

[Updated with videos] Former Mexican President Felipe Calderón served as keynote speaker at the 2013 Capital G Private Wealth Conference which got underway today [Apr 11] the Fairmont Southampton. President Calderón served as the 56th President of Mexico from December 2006 – November 2012.

President Calderon thanked everyone at Capital G for inviting him as well as for their hospitality before beginning his speech.

“Apart from your great beaches, you have one very important thing in common with my country, Mexico and that is our proximity with the US,” President Calderon.

“There is a Mexican saying you might identify with, and that is when the United States catches a cold, Mexico gets pneumonia. And it could be very similar here in this place.”
