Sobriety Checkpoint Info Session This Evening

CADA will hold a second Community Information Session this evening [Apr 18] on the topic of Sobriety Checkpoints, to discuss how these Checkpoints work and the results they can achieve.

CADA Chairman Anthony Santucci said, “One of the objectives of this year’s Alcohol Awareness Month is to educate the community about Sobriety Checkpoints, what they look like and the results they can achieve. To this end, I am
pleased to announce we will hold another Community Information Session on this important topic, this session will be held on Thursday April 18th, at 5:30pm in the Hamilton Police Station. All are welcome, please come out.”

Mr. Santucci continued, “Sobriety Checkpoints help change behaviors and as a result help save lives. It is CADA’s position that legislation should be enacted to provide for Non-Selective Sobriety Checkpoints to be conducted in Bermuda. Come out and let’s discuss this important topic.
