So it says three people injured but only two on board. Is that a typo or was someone on the dock injured?

Some of you ppl are idiots! One ferry accident and all the negative comments. Accidents happen all the time – like you’ve never had an accident while driving or riding. Why don’t you wait until the investigation is finished before passing judgement.

    • JMad says:

Agreed, lets wait to see the cause before jumping to conclusions.

      Accidents do happen.

ITS FUNNY HOW THE GOOD PILOTS GET TAKEN OFF THE BOAT FOR NOT CRASHING, BUT THE PILOTS THAT CRASH THE FERRIES STAY ON DESTROYING THEM!!! IVE CAUGHT THE WATFORD BRIDGE FERRY FOR YEARS AND IT JUST BAFFELS ME HOW THE MARINE & PORTS MANAGEMENT WORK!!! GUESS YOU GOTTA BE A BAD PILOT TO STAY ON THEM.. WHAT EXCUSE ARE THEY GONNA USE THIS TIME??? LIKE WHEN THE PILOT STRUCK THE FLOATING BOUY, HE STILL DRIVES!!! I GUESS THEY WILL BLAME THE BOAT!!! AS MY FATHER USE TO SAY COME TO THE DOCK AS FAST AS YOU WANNA HIT IT!!!! AND THERE WHERE INJURIES!!!! SEE YOU TOMORROW IM SURE!!! SMH!!!

      • rubber bong says:

You have highlighted 4 incidents with the ferries out of thousands of successful runs. 4 OUT OF 1000′s!!! are you seriously saying that this is a common occurrence? Accidents happen. We don’t know if the cause was human or mechanical. Lets not be quick to judge especially when we have 100′s of accidents PER WEEK on our roads. So according to the law of averages, some of you people pointing fingers have been in accidents yourselves. Lets just let the facts speak for themselves and the process run it course. If there was a major error on the operator’s part he will be dealt with. If it was a slight misjudgment then understandable. How many of us have tried to parallel on the street in town, misjudged the space and had to make a second attempt? We on the road have the luxury of friction with the ground and brakes. On the water they are floating on the water and there are no ‘brakes’.

        • Indeed!!!! says:

I’ve seen it for myself!!! I’m a regular commuter!!! Start catching the ferry everyday!! Just the few incidents I’ve mentioned are the major ones!!! There have been a lot that don’t get reported!!! Myself and other commuters have complained to management and have seen no results!!!! striking the dock is one of the common complaints

  13. Bermuda Boy says:

@ so tired, makes you sick doesn’t it. If a govt worker gets caught doing anything wrong, you know, even as you’re reading the story in the paper about it that they will get away with it.

  14. bir says:

yes people need to be careful what they say before they speak

    • Indeed!!!! says:

Sounds like u don’t catch the ferries!!!!
