Widowmaker is a poor choice of name in a dangerous sport that kills humans as well as marine life. Why should a few men be allowed to drive gas guzzling sound and water polluting boats at dangerous almost out of control speeds through shallow water where there are turtles and vulnerable maine habitats?

Many years ago I spent a week in the Hospital from being hit with a Golf Ball while play Golf.
Most of my friends have Soccer[ Foot Ball] Injuries,
I also have a friend who still suffers from being hit in the head from a boom fof a Comet Sail Boat.
      All sports are Dangerous
Powerboat Racing has beem in Bermuda since the early 1960′s and taken 3 lives – but thats a good figure concidering there have been thousands of sactioned races.
the most Dangerous Sport in Bermuda is Gossiping .
