Jacqueline Alma Exhibit At Masterworks Gallery

Locally-based artist Jacqueline Alma will be showcasing her oil paintings and drawings at a new Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art exhibition opening tomorrow [May 22].

Noted for her portraiture, there will be an opening reception for Ms Alma’s show — titled “The Red Thread” — at the Botanical Gardens gallery on Wednesday from 5.30 p.m. until 7.00pm.

Proceeds of the portrait “32N, 64W” will benefit the “Spirit of Bermuda” sail training programme.

A documentary filmed by Bermuda photographer/videographer Antoine Hunt on the artist’s creative process and featuring interviews with Ms Alma and her models will be shown.

The show runs until June 12.
