Man Denies Assault, Escaping From Custody

Prinston Burrows, 22, appeared in Magistrates Court this morning [May 7] where he was charged with assaulting a policeman, violently resisting arrest, and escaping lawful custody. This allegedly happened in Sandys parish on 5th May 2013, and Burrows pleaded not guilty. He was remanded in custody by Senior Magistrate Archie Warner, and will reappear in Court later this week.
