Motorcyclist Injured After Colliding With Wall

A 37-year-old motorcyclist is hospitalized in stable condition after he collided with a wall in Paget early this morning.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 2:45am on Monday, May 20th police and first responders were dispatched to a reported serious single vehicle motorcycle collision near the junction of Middle Road and South Road in Paget.

“It appears that the motorcyclist was riding along Middle Road when he collided with a wall.

“The victim, a 37 year old Devonshire man, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. At last check the victim was in stable condition.

“The motorcycle received front end damage. Inquiries into this collision are ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact PC Teledo Breary on 295-0011.”

    When is the OBA Government going to do something about these walls, utility poles, hedges & fences which keep jumping out into the roadway causing Bermudas expert drivers to collide with them?

    It has been 5 months. More than enough time to do something.
