PLP Congratulates New Chief Medical Officer
Shadow Minister of Health Zane DeSilva has congratulated Dr. Cheryl Peek-Ball [pictured] on her recent appointment as Chief Medical Officer.
“I would like to offer my sincere congratulations to Dr. Cheryl Peek-Ball on her appointment to the position of Chief Medical Officer by the Ministry of Health & Seniors,” said Mr DeSilva.
“I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Peek-Ball when she was appointed as the Acting Chief Medical Officer following the retirement of Dr Cann in December of 2011.
“I have the utmost respect for Dr. Peek-Ball and I know that Bermuda will be well served by her commitment, dedication and professionalism.
“Her appointment to the position of Chief Medical Officer is thoroughly deserved and Dr. Peek-Ball is another example of a Bermudian who has worked diligently to succeed at their chosen profession and whose commitment to Bermuda will no doubt benefit the community at large,” concluded Mr DeSilva.
