Two Men Deny Assaulting Pregnant Women
Two men appeared in Magistrates Court this morning [May 6], where they both denied assaulting pregnant women in two completely separate cases. One man was alleged to have kicked a woman who was 7-weeks pregnant in her stomach, while the other was alleged to have punched a woman who was 3 months pregnant.
Mikhail Butterfield, 22, pleaded not guilty to an allegation that he had assaulted a pregnant woman by kicking her in the stomach. The woman was said to have been in a relationship with Butterfield, and the alleged assault was said to have occurred on 30th April. She was said to be 7 weeks pregnant.
Similar — but unrelated — charges were also laid on another defendant this morning.
Damay Burchall, 32, pleaded not guilty to causing bodily harm to a woman said to be his girlfriend and who was three months pregnant at the time. This action was alleged to have happened earlier this month, and was alleged to have involved Burchall punching the woman causing bruising to her face.
Senior Magistrate Archie Warner ordered that both defendants be remanded into custody until their trials in July 2013.

I say blindfold them and then leave them alone with the fathers, uncles, brothers and male cousins of these women. Hopefully one of them was a striker.
Their punishment should be for them if convicted should be to stand at the round about at Crow Lane holding up signs saying I AM A WOMAN BEATER AND I’M NOT A NICE PERSON. every morning from 6 a.m. to 10a.m Shame on the both of you!!! I bet if you have daughters you wouldn’t want no man to beat on them nor would you want anyone to beat on your mothers. Two Cowardly Punks.

If convicted the sign should say ‘i kicked a pregnant woman’ Damn cowards what the Hell is wrong with these men when they can’t have their way they wanna hit someone or something. Lock their a$$ up.

The worst part is that they are probably still going to give birth to these two losers offspring who probably don’t want the kids. Now the viscious circle continues. Two more kids raised in homes without a father who might grow up to be criminals. MIGHT! We have to raise our daughters better too. I know I wouldn’t be a proud grandparent if my unwed daughter had kids. A lot of people do think it’s cool and that’s a problem. Ladies stop breeding with these thugged out rats!
Both of them are in a relationship with these women… If found guilty, they should both be made to have front seats at the birthing connell of these women and see what women have to go through giving birth to their child-ren and hopefully they’d also reflect and think about their own mothers, grandmother and other women who deserve the respect… It’s not a pretty picture. PNUKS!
Wait a minute….i’m not condoning the alleged actions of these two men but if true there is something clearly wrong with their relationships with the soon to be mothers of their children. If things are that bad and the child isn’t even here yet then likely there will be more to come later. I already feel sorry for the unborn children.

Maybe woman are speaking up more, yes power to them. Hopefully punishment is well worth it.
But knowing the system, most of these alleged abusive males will keep getting away with their nasty ways. SHAME! I know, my EX now still enjoys life to the fullest and thinks he has done no wrong… and yes kids left without “daddy” – He prefers to avoid their lives…
