35-Year-Old Man In ICU After Motorcycle Collision

[Updated] A 35-year-old man is in the Intensive Care Unit following a motorcycle collision at the North Round-a-bout in Pembroke early this morning.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 12:55am on Thursday, June 27th police and first responders attended a reported serious single vehicle motorcycle collision at the North Round-a-bout in Pembroke.

“It appears that a motorcycle was being ridden along Crow Lane when it collided with the round-a-bout. The rider, a 35 year old Paget man, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.

“At last check the victim was in the Intensive Care Unit. The motorcycle was extensively damaged. Inquiries into this collision are ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact PC Caleb Jn Pierre on 295-0011.”

Update June 28, 11.39am: The 35-year-old man remains in the ICU, and is listed in stable condition.

    I do not know what happened with this accident. I hope that the young man heals quickly and is able to leave the hospital. People, please, slow down. Be aware of the other riders and drivers that are sharing the road with you. There have been too many accidents on our roads.
