Local Teen To Head Back To BET 106 & Park

June 23, 2013

Local rap artist Jeremiah “Lil Quan” Steede has been selected to participate in BET’s 106 & Park television show on July 31, 2013.

In December 2012, Jeremiah won the local talent show “Can U Rip It 2”, selected over four other artists for an opportunity to work with local talent manager Jonathan Talbot, as well as appear on BET’s show 106 & Park during its Wild out Wednesdays performances.

On May 8, 2013 Jeremiah, his manager, and local producer Cahill Smith traveled to New York City where Jeremiah got his opportunity to appear and perform live on stage while over 90 million viewers watched from around the world. He beat out teen artist Jordan Newt from California as his fans voted him to the top.

Now, resulting from his May 8th victory, the CedarBridge student has been asked to return to BET to compete once again with several other international teen artists. He along with his manager is preparing to raise funds and travel back to New York on July 30, 2013.

The show is shown on the BET network, which reaches more than 90 million households in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean.

  1. This is a powerful gift and needs to be applauded, our youth are our future and so I say young blood you are well on your way to stardom. I say just remember your creator who has gifted you, and gave you not just a gift and a talent, but a ministry to reach the youth for Jesus Christ.

Very Power and I listen to the lyrics, and there is a message inside of you and all of us in Bermuda I am sure are proud of our very own.

    Congratulations Jeremiah!

  3. Quan Fan says:

I will support Lil Quan on his quest under one condition – - – after viewing his performance, I think he would be better off without any additional performers on stage – - he has the talent on his own.
