Beres Hammond Set To Appear Next Weekend

July 25, 2013

Jamaican reggae superstar Beres Hammond is set to appear in Bermuda next weekend, serving as the headliner at the “One Love One Life” concert at Par-La-Ville car park on Wednesday July 31st.

There had been some rumours following the cancellation of Beres Hammond’s recent UK tour, which was said to be due to an immigration issue, with a member of his band refused entry to the UK.

However local organisers confirmed the legendary singer is set to perform in Bermuda, and said they are looking forward to putting on a top class show.

Beres Hammond — who has previously said that Bermuda is one of his “favorite places to visit and perform” — has a string of hits including Love from a Distance, Putting Up a Resistance, Sweet Lies and more.

The “One Love One Life” concert will also feature Bermudian reggae artist Collie Buddz, Uzimon, and New Kingston and is part of a four day music festival that kicks off on Friday [July 26].
