Car Leaves Scene After Collision, Woman Injured

Around 11:30pm on Saturday [July 6] police and first responders attended a reported collision at the junction of South Road and Point Finger Road in Paget.

A police spokesperson said, “It appears that a motorcycle was being ridden along South Road and a car was being driven along the same road when the vehicles collided at the junction.

“The motorcyclist, a 35 year old Devonshire woman, was injured. She was apparently taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance, treated and discharged. The car involved reportedly left the scene following the collision.

“Inquiries are ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact PC Mark Monk on 295-0011.”

    If you know of a car with recent damage to the passenger side, please report it. The driver just left her there after causing the accident.

      The same thing happened to a young female Cedarbridge graduate two weekends ago at the Tee Street and South Shore junction, breaking her leg in multiple places. The driver left the scene.
