Equestrians Compete In Virginia Hunter Show
Six junior equestrians participated in a Hunter Show Series at Picturesque Farm in Warrenton, Virginia.
Equitation classes are judged on the rider while the Hunter classes are judged on the performance of the animal. Despite the downpours of rain they each competed at a high standard.
Jesse Soares riding Crossroad Special Edition competed in the Low Hunter on the Flat Class finished 2nd, she also finished 5th taking part in the Equitation Under 14 on the Flat Class.
Courtney Bromby riding French Twist finished the Low Hunter Over Fences Class in 2nd place and then finished 3rd in the Equitation Under 14 on the Flat Class.
During the Low Hunter on the Flat Class, Kristen Bean riding Bermuda High finished 4th and then finished 5th and 6th in the Low Hunter over Fences Class, Bean finished 2nd in the Equitation Under 14 Class.
Lizzy Maderios riding Major, finished 3rd in the Low Hunter on the Flat Class, Maderios finished 3rd in Low Hunter over Fences Class and then finished 4th in the Champion for Low Hunter Equitation Under 14 Class.
Casey Truran riding Partly Cloudy finished 2nd in the Pony Equitation on the Flat and over Fences Combined Score, Truran finished 1st in the Large Pony Hunter on the Flat Class, 1st in the Large Pony Hunter over Fences Class. Truran won the Championship for Large Pony Hunter Equitation Under 14 Class.
Christian Truran riding Desperado finished 4th in the Medium Pony Hunter on the Flat Class and 4th in the Medium Pony Hunter over Fences Class.
