Man Denies Stealing Batteries, Cookies, Gloves

On Friday [July 12] Jerome Hill, 31, appeared in Magistrates Court and pleaded not guilty to stealing just over $270 worth of items from the Marketplace’s Shopping Centre on Victoria Street in May 2013.

The Court heard allegations Mr Hill stole Tylenol, sponges, light bulbs, cookies, juices, latex gloves, batteries, and other general merchandise. Senior Magistrate Archie Warner set trial for October, and granted Mr Hill bail of $2,000 with one surety.
