U/20 Women’s Football Team Head To Jamaica
The Bermuda U/20 Women’s National team will depart Bermuda today [July 21] to participate in the Caribbean Football Union [CFU] U-20 Qualifying Tournament.
Two teams will advance from the Group to compete in the Finals which is tentatively set to be staged in Puerto Rico in October on a date to announced. The Bermuda team will be coached by Naquita Robinson.
The Bermuda team — which contains seven members from the gold medal winning NatWest Island Games team – have been drawn in Group 4 along with hosts Jamaica, Cuba and Curacao.

Group 4 matches will be staged in Kingston, Jamaica at the Tony Spaulding Sports Complex on July 23, 25 and 27. The first game will see Cuba taking on Curacao at 4:00 pm followed by Bermuda vs. Jamaica at 6:00pm.
The second set of games will be played on July 25 when Jamaica meets Curacao at 4:00 pm and Bermuda tackles Cuba at 6:00pm. On July 27, Curacao will challenge Bermuda at 4:00pm and at 6:00pm; Jamaica plays Cuba marking the final game at this stage of the tournament.
