bda U20The Bermuda women’s U/20s football team have arrived in Jamaica, where they will participate in the Caribbean Football Union [CFU] U-20 Qualifying Tournament.

Yesterday [July 22] the team had the opportunity to train at the Tony Spaulding Sports Complex in preparation for their opening match vs Jamaica this evening.

The BFA said, “With two teams advancing from the group it is important for team Bermuda to try and get a positive result in their matches against favorites Jamaica and Cuba before playing Curacao in their final match.

“Jamaica are scheduled to play Cuba in the final match of the round on July 27th, and Bermuda will want to avoid this being a rubber stamp with both teams having already secured passage through to the next round.”
