BASE To Host “Gaming For Change” Fundraiser

On September 20th, CB Market Solutions in cooperation with the Bermuda Autism Support & Education Foundation [BASE] will be hosting a casino-styled fundraiser entitled Gaming for Change. The evening’s festivities will take place at Landfall Restaurant on North Shore Road and will be emceed by popular radio personality Bootsie of Magic 102.7’s Bootsie’s Morning Show.

The evening will consist of dinner, music and several casino-style games such as Roulette, Craps, Crown & Anchor, Blackjack and Texas Hold’em. Several prizes, donated by local businesses in support of the BASE Foundation will also be available for participants throughout the night as well as a grand prize for the night’s big winner.

Proceeds will benefit the BASE Foundation and will be used to support the local education of autistic children through the funding of proper equipment, supplies and training. With this event the BASE Foundation will be raising the awareness of Autism on the island as well as providing an opportunity to foster ways in which to support the greater Autistic community as a whole.

The event’s host and organizer is CB Market Solutions, a local marketing firm helmed by Callan Bassett. Mr. Bassett, who serves as the president and creative director of the company, manages the firm, which offers such services as creative design, market research, public relations and event planning.
