BFA Mourn Passing Of Former President
Bermuda Football Association President Larry Mussenden offered condolences to the family and friends of former BFA President Richard Thompson.
“The BFA Executive, Staff and member clubs are sad to hear of the death of former President Richard Thompson. We extend our condolences to his family,” said BFA President Larry Mussenden.
“Richard committed an enormous amount of time, passion and energy to football in Bermuda. He served on the BFA Executive for many years and then became President for several years. He guided the BFA through some domestic and international challenging times and we are truly grateful for his leadership then.
“We recognize that whilst Richard was generally of a quiet nature, his love of football and club life in Bermuda was vibrant, energetic and full of purpose.
“Richard’s family and loved ones will be in our thoughts and prayers at this time of sadness.”
