Standings in Group A, with Bermuda sitting on top:

In the match of group C St Kitts & Nevis earned its first points of the tournament with a 4-2 win over Curacao. 5 minutes into the game Geovannie Lake scored for St Kitts & Nevis. 15 minutes later, he added a second goal. Curacao got back into the game starting the second half with a goal by Hesus Pietersz, but that was not enough. 2 minutes later St Kitts & Nevis scored two goals that gave them the three points.

Honduras defeated Guadalupe 2-0. Walter Rodrigues in the 20th minute and, the Man of the Match, Darixon Vuelto in 50th minute gave Honduras the three points and the lead in Group D. With this win Honduras secured a place in the semifinals.

In the first game of Group D at Ed Bush Stadium, Haiti defeated Puerto Rico 1-0. After a goalless first half, the Man of the Match, Tchekvoh-Kevin Amede, scored for Haiti in the 41st minute. With this win, Haiti secured the second place in his group and still has a change to qualify for the next round given that they still have one more game of the group stage.

In the second game at Ed Bush Stadium, Martinique defeated Antigua & Barbuda 2-0. In the 11th minute of the first half, Hedson Nattes scored the first goal of the match. Bryan Mont added the second and final goal at the 54th minute. The Man of the Match was Youri Oscar of Martinique.

In the third and last match of Group D, El Salvador defeated St. Vincent & The Grenadines 4-1. One goal by Juan Martinez in the 23rd minute, two goals by Man of the Match, Josue Melendez, in the 43rd and 49th minute, and a fourth by Carlos Herrera at the end of the second half, gave El Salvador the 1st place of the group with one match remaining.

Match day eight will be the last group stage match for Groups A and B. In Group A, leader Bermuda will look to secure a spot in the semifinals with a win over last place St. Maarten this evening [Aug 20].

The Cayman Islands will have to wait and see if a win will be enough to qualify. They need the three points against Aruba and for Bermuda to loose. In the third match of the group, Bahamas will play the US Virgin Islands. Both teams have no possibilities of advancing to the next round.

The match between Guatemala and Jamaica will decide who advances to the next round. A win, tie or a loss by 5 goals or less, will give Guatemala the ticket to the semifinals. Grenada and Belize will play the other match of the group.
