Cycle Rider Injured In Collision in Pembroke
Around 7:30pm on Saturday, August 3rd police and first responders attended a reported two vehicle collision at the junction of North Shore Road and Clarke’s Lane in Pembroke.
“It appears that a car was exiting Clarke’s Lane and an auxiliary cycle was being ridden along North Shore Road when the vehicles collided,” said a police spokesperson.
“The auxiliary cycle rider, a 24 year old Pembroke man, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. He was later discharged. There were no other injuries reported; however both vehicles were damaged.
“Inquiries into this collision are ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact PC Yvette Henry on 295-0011.”
