Sad sad sad….
Oh no! :’(
Wow sad God bless the family!!
May god be with his family at a time like this
Thank You that was my cousin
To you and to Ina and the rest of the family our sincere condolences is with you at this time, and our prayers is that even though we me may not fully comprehend the level of grief and pain at this time, we do understand the sting of death and the sorrow it brings.
So may the peace of God and the love of Jesus Christ rest upon you now and forevermore, as i truly believe this young man transition from earth to glory and is with our heavenly father and we will see him again in a World were we will never depart again, and that is truth. God bless you sincerely in every area that you hurt and give you peace.
After a rough start to the new year I was hoping to get through the rest of the year with few to no more traffic fatalities. I did hear the description of what happened to cause this accident and fatality and I hope those that have young ones on cycles encourage them to ride safely and not take chances. I did see a young man today (on a V50) take a chance overtaking a van and had to nip between the van and another cyclist who had a small child on the front of that cycle.
My condolences to this young man’s family.
A small child should not be on the front of any bike.
Condolences to the family and friends of the incident.
AGREED!!!
Life in Betmuda….
This is something I do not like to hear, God bless the family, so sad

May the family find peace.
This is so sad. I can’t count how many times I’m on the road and I close my eyes because I swear I’m about to see an accident. Condolences to the family and I hope that the young and old people on bikes slow down and take your time! I’d rather get there late than not at all. Please where I work I see the after affects of speeding. It is not a good feeling and seeing the parents come to visits their sons is gut wrenching.
I was just flexing with you last night f***** up gonna miss you didn’t think it was true were all gonna miss you you were my boy rip
It breaks my heart to hear of such news. My sincerest condolences to the family & friends of this young man. May God give you comfort during this difficult time.
RIP to you and heartfelt condolences to your family. Another young person gone too soon. Friends, I encourage you to please do not take risky and unnecessary chances on our roads. What may seem like a thrill for that moment, remember tomorrow is not promised to no one.
My son is almost seventeen I feel for this family so sorry may God grant you understanding at this most difficult time
Words cannot express the depth of my sorrow. Another young man gone too soon. My prayers and condolences are with the family. May God give you comfort and strength.
My condolences go out to the family at this difficult time. May God bless and strengthen you.
I remember the victim when he was a kid. After hearing all the details surrounding this, I feel so bad for the family and especially his mother. 17 years old is so young. One split second, one error in judgment and someone pays with it for their life. He didn’t set out to get in an accident…sadly we can’t wind back the clock and do things over again. Very tragic.
“He didn’t set out to get in an accident..”
unfortunately a lot of young people riding bikes nowadays have no care for any one on the road, including themselves. near misses that happen every day, it is a wonder we do not see any more fatalities!
my condolences to the family of the teeanger..
*pays for it with their life
R.I.P —-. gone but never forgotten.
Condolences to my family. May you find peace. He was a good sports man.
I understand first hand how this family feels. On October 8 it will be 2 years since my son died in an accident. I will keep you in my prayers.
So sorry so sorry .
Wow my sons friend all was kicking ball. He will be a miss
I reiterate–do not pass on yellow lines. No not pass on corners. Do not pass PERIOD. Slow down. These roads are to curvy and narrow for overtaking, on a bike or in a car. Will anyone learn? It is a sad day for this family. We can teach our children what is right and proper; they are going to do what they want to do. Condolences to this family on this very tragic loss.
What about a bus? I almost died on that very same road yesterday! Driver must’ve thought he was on a scrambler. Nervous for oncoming traffic. Lord I hope I don’t have to ride the bus soon for that very reason. It was the 11:10 bus leaving St. David’s. oh and coming home wasn’t better 6:45 St. George’s bus leaving town had to hold on for dear life. So the message goes to everyone…please slow down…these accidents and deaths affect so many people who care for you! Love your life and your parents who have to suffer greatly over poor decision making!
R.I.P WHY DID IT HAVE TO SEE THIS HAPPEN INFRONT OF ME!!!
Correction: Do not pass on corners.
My heart fell apart when I heard the news. This young man was so loved by many and a playful joker to most. I’m praying the family will be ok at this time in need. SIP lil man we will miss you but never forget you xoxoxo
Yes, his mother is like that as well-she must have passed her sense of humour down to her son. She is just devastated right now and I cannot even imagine what she is going through. The first responders had to go right past her job on the way to try and help her son. I feel really terrible for her, her children are her life. My condolences to the entire family and may he be at peace.
My condolences to the whole family and friends.
R.I.P —-. gone but never forgotten.
gonna miss that smile! RIP little fella
My condolences to the family. Please youth, stop overtaking everything in front of you. You are our future, your family and your country need you and don’t wanna lose you. :’(
well said! condolences to the family and may he rest in peace!
Condolences to the family! May he rest in peace!
been there for me since day one. the CedarBridge Family will miss you <3
My deepest sympathies to the rider’s family, the truck driver and the bus driver. I know first hand how incredibly traumatic these accidents can be to the innocent victims left behind – those that are part of such a tragic event, did nothing to cause it, yet will be haunted by it for life. My thoughts are with you all…
I am pleased to see someone’s thinking of the truck driver and bus driver as well as the broken hearted family. Counselling needed all round. Blessings x
S.I.P. You will never be forgotten.
You will always be in out hearts.
BRidge &English Classmate </3

So sad. My condolences to his family.

… Tragically his death won’t change a thing in how many drive on our roads.
You are gone too soon, good times and memories will always live on. Rest in peace.
Sincerest condolences to all affected…

He beat you.
My deepest sympathies to the rider’s family, the truck driver and the bus driver. These traumatic accidents can be also very traumatic to those that are part of such a tragic event, did nothing to cause it, yet will be haunted by it for life. My thoughts and prayers are with you all…
How about the truck driver? Looks like he got over to the left as far as he could go. The vision of that bike coming at him will haunt him for the rest of his life.
TD – you are too right. That driver, the innocent victim in this, will be haunted for life. I live it – different accident, same scenario. Sad on so many levels. How do we teach Bermuda’s drivers to stop being suicidal in how they approach the roads?
I knew this boy and he will be sadly missed. He was a very special young man.
May God comfort —-’s family at this trying time..
Difficult moments, seek God.
Quiet moments, worship God.
Painful moments, trust God.
Every moment, thank God.
My condolences to the young man’s family and friends. It is frightening how in a single instant a loved one can be taken from us.
R.I.P Lil Cuz……My heart goes out to my family in these times. I to know how it feels to loose a love one and at his young age he had so much more life to live. Just know that he is in a better place and will not be forgotten. The days will get better but at present you mourn….you cry you do whatever you feel to make you feel better. God is there with you every step of the way and will help you through is. Keep him in your heart. Family you are in my prayers.
The hard cold facts are more than likely that this was no accident. Like so many others, it was most likely an avoidable crash caused by human error not by unavoidable mechanical failure resulting in an accident.
The carnage continues. Another young life gone. When will we learn?
Damn!!!! At some point you should learn some compassion . . .I don’t think anyone of his friends and especially his family want to hear your ignorant rhetoric at a time like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Apologies for being morbid, but every time (and that’s ALL the time lately) when I see people riding like poorly (with child &/or wife/girlfriend/boyfriend/husband on the front/back these days) I wonder if they ever ask themselves if where they are in such a rush to go to is worth dying for. ESPECIALLY when they turn off the road just after they’ve taken their life into their own hands….couldn’t they have waited another couple of seconds?????
Do they consider what devastation they will leave behind? Not only for their families but for those others directly involved in the incident? Is it REALLY worth it?
Come on Bermuda…this is NOT us!!
Deepest condolences to the family. May the Lord give you comfort at such a time.
With tears in my eyes, I send condolences to this young man’s family, and a heartfelt plea to all his friends and other young (and older) ones on bikes. Please care as much about your own life as you seem to expect others on the road to do. When you overtake on blind corners or into oncoming traffic, cars, trucks, buses and even other bikes must take defensive maneuvers to avoid hitting or being hit by you. You can see from the above picture that the truck driver went as far over as possible to avoid this young man…without success. For all we know, maybe he was speeding too, and that contributed to the tragedy. One thing for sure, this accident and death will haunt him for the rest of his life.
Everybody, just slow down. Nobody will mind if you get to your funeral a little late.
My sympathy goes out to the family! May God bring them peace that surpasses all understanding!
with tears in my eye’s . Sorry mom’s for your lost Nekeno is and alway will be my best friend i looked forward for his call Everyday/ night we talked and laughed about everything from deep secret to almost everything. We always hung together in school/ out/
My heart goes our to the family of the young man, and to the bus and truck drivers and their kin. What a sad, sad day.The repercussions will last forever.
I wonder how long it took for the ambulance to get from Paget to the scene – why isn’t there one at the Fire Station and/or the Foggo/Lamb Clinic as it is open at this time of day – just asking
sleep easy kenoo. you will forever missed&loved
This so terribly, terribly sad. My heartfelt condolences to Nakeno’s family and friends.
To all of the young men who knew this obviously talented young man – are you going to PERMANENTLY change your driving behavior as a result of this tragedy? Not for a few days, not for a few weeks, I mean PERMANENTLY? Please, please think of the people who love you and cherish you. Please, please don’t become another unnecessary statistic.
Keno! S.I.P you were such a funny guy buh
Imma miss you Keno so damn much i cant believe you’re gone!!!!!
May all involved find peace in our heavenly father at this time of bearevement. Condolences to the Family.
SIP Keno from your Devils Hole Family
It’s been almost 3 months and we all miss you so much. I miss your hugs and telling me to focus on school and to realize how I am almost graduating. I miss seeing you in Mr. Gallies class everyday and all the jokes you cracked and always had a story for us about the weekend or some new girl you had your eye on.
Seeing people coming together for you and focusing on school is so amazing. I were your tag near my heart everyday, you are my motivation. I know your up there watching over everyone, we may get a little side track but we are all doing it for you.
May your soul rest peacefully and see you soon at those golden gates. One love. ♥
