Netball Championships: Samoa Beat Bermuda
Bermuda met up with Samoa yesterday [Aug 28] at the 2013 World Youth Netball Championships in Scotland, with Samoa defeating Bermuda 60-40.
Bermuda took on Samoa in one of the four 9th – 16th place matches. Samoa outscored Bermuda 16 goals to 7 at the end of the first quarter, before scoring 15 goals in the second quarter and restricting Bermuda to 8 to lead 31 – 15 at the half.
Bermuda outscored Samoa 15 goals to 11 in the third quarter and was down by 12 at the end 42 – 30 and then Samoa scored 18 goals in the final period and restricting Bermuda to 10 as they came away with the 60 – 40 win.
