Woman Charged With Assaulting Her Mother
A 33-year-old woman appeared in Magistrates Court yesterday [Aug 27] where she denied assaulting her own mother.
Ayesha Lake pleaded not guilty to assaulting her mother on 10th August 2013. Crown Prosecutor Susan Mulligan told Senior Magistrate Archie Warner that Ms Lake was the mother of a child, but that Ms Lake’s child was in the care and custody of Ms Lake’s mother.
The Senior Magistrate set trial for October 2013 and granted Ms Lake bail of $2,000 with no special conditions.
