North Village Football “Kicks for Cancer” Program
This October marks the 5th Annual “Kicks for Cancer” Campaign for North Village Community Club and they are delighted to once again be part of an overall effort to raise awareness for breast cancer.
“We are a community club and helping others in the community is at the cornerstone of who we are and what we stand for”, said newly elected President Stephen Coddington. “It is our goal to have our biggest and best “Kicks for Cancer” campaign yet”.
In an effort to show their support for the women in our community affected by breast cancer, the North Village Premier Team will once again don pink jerseys throughout the month of October. “We are working on securing pink jerseys so that our youth program can also actively participate in this important North Village campaign”, said Coddington.
Freisenbruch Meyer Group has once again partnered with North Village by committing to donate $100 to Bermuda Cancer and Health Center for every North Village goal scored during the month of October.
The campaign will launch this Sunday September 29th at Bernard Park at 3pm when North Village take on Flannagan’s Onions. The campaign will come to a close during the last home game of the month on Sunday, October 27th at 3pm against the Devonshire Cougars. In effort to raise additional funds for Bermuda Cancer and Health Center, Freisenbruch Meyer Group has agreed to donate $200 for every North Village goal scored during the last game of this year’s “Kicks for Cancer” campaign.
