      • SoMuchMore says:

flip flop’s singing isn’t outa this world, it’s outa control.

    • Out of flight says:

It is unfair to give them such short notice. What a joke?

      • Sandy Bottom says:

They have over a day to prepare a five minute demo. If you’re a pro, ready for a pro gig, that’s fine.

      • ABM says:

Actually, you get even shorter notice in the entertainment industry to prep for the actual thing. This is a blessing for those interested so do not be so quick to cut this down.

  2. sage says:

Thanks for all the time to prepare. This is why Tourism budget should be at least partly spent on developing and encouraging local entertainment like chewstick does.

  3. SoMuchMore says:

thanks for the notification. let me see if i can get my bois together to sing a lil sometin tomorrow.

  4. Trumpety Trump says:

Furby’s here, Betty’s here, Rhonda too.
    Flip Flop’s here
    Hey Roban, where are you?
(sing to the tune of the Archies TV show)

They could join up as “Not Quite The Um Um Show”. Ridiculous jokes about Bermuda – except they’d be serious!!!

    • Willaim says:

You sound like one of those “whites” that make the the OBA party appear racist. I’m not saying that all whites in the OBA are race heads, but this along with so many other comments gives blacks a bad taste in their mouth. Then you wonder why there are only a few blacks in the OBA party. If your going to insult people on here be man or woman enough to use your real name.

      • Trumpety Trump says:

Shame you had to bring race into it. How typically PLP. Ruin the country and can’t take a little poke. Pathetic. Take a Midol.

      • Bermuda Male says:

How is that racist? Read all the disparaging comments made about Premier Cannonier and the nicknames afforded to Min. Dunkley, Min. Richards, Senator Brangman et al on here everyday, all day. What makes the PLP public officials so special to be immune from the same treatment and why is it only racist when such criticisms are aimed at them?

What do you have to say about the racist remarks emanating from the PLP mouthpieces over the years? Your deputy leader has no problems labeling the opposition as red necks in the House while others have no issues calling others house ******s while also calling a whole female expat population nothing but prostitutes. Don’t you think that rhetoric is divisive , nasty and a reason why there are so few whites involved in the PLP?

I believe that BDAs political dialogue needs to greatly mature, but I don’t buy that the PLP is a victim as several of their elected members and supporters have proven to be the perpetrator of hate on more than several occasions.

      • SoMuchMore says:

William i hope you reread your comments cause you sound like an a$$.

      • haha says:

u didn’t use your real name either so STFU

  5. Trumpety Trump says:

Easy to criticize someone for not using a real name – when your not using a real name. Go back under your rock.

  6. Trumpety Trump says:

Its because of people like you, that people like me have had to resort to using false names. Because if we ever said anything in any way against the PLP, we were branded racist. How’s that workin for you now??

    Dec 17th 1012.

  7. Evie says:

We don’t need local entertainment on a ship sitting in Bermuda waters. We need local establishments to hire local entertainers to entice the passengers to get off the ship and put some dollars into our econony.

  8. Jennifer Drew says:

So excited to see this. so disappointed that we were not given prior notice. Really! BDT and Royal Caribbean, please provide a second audition date so that we can actually audition! This lack of notice means you will miss out on a lot of Bermudian talent.

  9. Cavello Bay says:

    William is just a TROLL!
