Woman Denies Stealing $139 Of Clothing
A 45-year-old woman appeared in Magistrates Court yesterday [Oct 2], where she denied both stealing and dishonestly obtaining clothes from Gibbons Company.
Marion Medeiros pleaded not guilty to one count of stealing clothing worth $139 from Gibbons Co Ltd, with this alleged to have happened in April 2013.
She also pleaded not guilty to a second charge, also from April 2013, that she dishonestly obtained items from Gibbons Co Ltd by falsely representing that she was entitled to use a merchant card in another person’s name.
Represented by lawyer Rick Woolridge, she was granted bail of $2,000 and will go on trial in January 2014.
