Minor Injuries Sustained In Paget Car Accident

A 57 year old woman sustained minor injuries when the car she was a passenger in was involved in a collision with another car on Friday [Nov 1] on South Road in Paget.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 12:15pm on Friday, November 1st police and first responders attended a reported two car collision on South Road in Paget near the junction with Seabright Avenue.

“It appears that both cars were being driven along South Road when they collided in the vicinity of the Botanical Gardens. Apparently a 57 year old woman, a passenger in one of the vehicles, sustained minor injuries and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. Both cars involved were damaged.

“In addition, another two vehicle collision occurred in the same area shortly after this two car collision; however there were no reported injuries in that incident.

“Inquiries are ongoing into the initial two car collision and any witnesses are encouraged to contact PC Michelle Berkeley on 295-0011.”
