Senior Netball League Season Gets Underway
The Bermuda Netball Association’s Senior League season got underway on Saturday [Nov 2] at the Bernard Park netball courts.
The Lady Bluebirds defeated the Baby Bluebirds 42 – 16. Ebonie Burgess led the Bluebirds to victory with 30 goals while Eshae Grant added 10 goals and Arkeita Fubler scored twice. Tyanna Hayward scored 10 goals for the Baby Bluebirds and Shondanae Woods-Bell added 6 goals.
The Signworx Netts defeated the Robin Hood Tigers 42 – 25. Danielle Onyia scored 18 goals and Jasmyn Renfroe added 17 goals for the Signworx Netts while Diara Benjamin added 7 goals. Jahtuere Trott lead the Robin Hood attack with 13 goals while Jahkenya Trott added 9 goals and Lynique Castle scored 3 goals.
The WWC Pink Panthers defeated the Blazin Bluebirds 53 – 34. Debbie DeShields scored 42 goals to lead the WWC Panthers to victory while Nikita Trott added 7 goals and Derrika Simons scored 4 goals. Fredrica Samuels scored 29 goals for the Blazin Bluebirds and Miesha Greaves added 5 goals.
