Sweet Saak Bakery Celebrates 1st Anniversary

Sweet Saak Bakery in St. George’s is celebrating its first anniversary with a month of fun and tasty events planned throughout November in order to mark the occasion.

For the last year, Sweet Saak Bakery has fulfilled the dessert-related needs of the community by providing a wide array of delectable delights to clients. After one year of operation at 16 York Street in St. George’s, the shop is inviting Bermuda to join in on their first year anniversary festivities during the month of November.

First up is the Sweet Saak’s Instagram Scavenger Hunt which began on Tuesday [Nov 4] and will run through Saturday, November 9. To take part and get in on the action, participants need only follow the official Saak’s Instagram account.

During the second week of celebration, Saak will host a Cupcake Craze, with a different flavour cupcake available at the shop each day from November 11 through November 16.

To further sweeten the deal, the first customer to enter Sweet Saak Bakery on the hour from 11.00am to 2.00pm will receive a complimentary cupcake.

The Cupcake Craze will culminate in a family cupcake decorating event to be held on Saturday, November 16, with families invited to stop by the shop and have children take part in custom cupcake decorating.

On Thursday, November 21, Sweet Saak will host seniors from within the community to enjoy the bakery’s upper studio while enjoying a cup of tea and Johnny bread or a biscuit from 2.00pm through 5.00pm. Those interested in attending this free event must RSVP to info@sweetsaakbakery.com no later than Tuesday, November 19.

Capping the month of celebrations off with style, the bakery will play host to the Sweet Saak “Sugar & Spice Soiree” on Saturday, November 30, a party that will include entertainment, cocktails, and canapés. The soiree will host guests by invitation only.
