T-Shirts: “Feed The Nahk And He Will Score”

Bermudian striker Nahki Wells has seen his popularity soar as he proved his dominance on the pitch again and again, and that popularity has lead to the young man’s face featured on a series of t-shirts and numerous talk of multimillion transfer fees.

Boasting a picture of Mr. Wells along with the words, “Feed the Nahk and he will score,” the shirts are currently available for purchase via the Bradford City online shop.

The quote is, of course, a play on “Feed the Goat and he will score” a chant often heard for another Bermudian football great, legendary Manchester City striker Shaun Goater.

Wells’ status with fans around the world reached new heights last week after the striker scored a hat trick against rival Coventry City, suggesting that clothing featuring his image could be one of many endorsements that he’ll receive during his career.

The 23-year-old Bermudian returned to the game late last month after going off during Bradford’s match against Shrewsbury Town on September 28 after taking a hard knock to his foot, causing ligament damage.

With Wells dominating performance on the field has lead to talk that he may be picked up by another Club, with Bradford City joint chairman Mark Lawn saying both the club and Nahki Wells will have big decisions to make over the striker’s future come the January transfer window.

Numerous British media reports have said the former Dandy Town striker can be expected to command a transfer fee in the millions, with the most recent report indicating that Bradford is willing to sell Wells to Championship side Queens Park Rangers for a fee of for £3 million [$4.6 million] in January.
