2013 Goodwill Golf Tournament Concludes
The 2013 Goodwill Golf Tournament concluded at the four golf courses around the island. With a score of 262, Riverside Golf Club which include Professional Chris Moody, Brady Whittingham, Jim Kendall and Doug Fillmore won the Junior Men Gross Division. Finishing in second place with a score of 265 was the team of Professional David McAndrew, Andrew Resmini, Jason Resmini and Tim Forbes who made up the Rhode Island CC.
The Mid Ocean Club team of Professional Chaka DeSliva, Craig Brown, Ben Hodge and Max Atherden finished third with a score of 267.
The Senior Men Division was won by the Hi 5 Golf Club of Professional Dennis Hendershott, Neil Higgins, John Sharpe and Eric Mott who recorded a score of 259. Second Place with a score of 262, saw the Lakes Golf Club team of Professional Scott Spence, Dwight Spence, Jeff Asman and Greg Brightman, while third place with to the Donalda Golf Club team of Professional Conrad Riley, Jeff Fleischmann, Lawrence Smith and Randal Rice recorded a time of 265.
The Georgian Bay Golf Club team of Professional Meg Chapman, Marilynne Day-Linton, Paula Zubek and Colleen Campbell won the Ladies Division with a score of 292. Second place with a score of 295 was the Mid Ocean Club of Professional Peggy Stevens, Linda Down, Carol Jones and Katrin Burnie and the London Hunt Club that included Professional Andree Lapierre, Donna Borne, Beth Whatmore and Ann Toal finished third with a four day total of 301.
