    Wonder who it could be

    • TESTI says:

Don’t know but I’m thinking the MONEY SHOP must have cameras inside and out. Yes? No?

  2. Truth is killin' me... says:

This type of crap by these thugs instills fear in the residents. What lawmakers need to do is draft legislation to punish actions such as this as a terrorist act even though nobody was shot. Lock people up for a long time just for trying to instill fear in the population of the island. Being caught with a gun these days does not seem to get the warranted jail time.

  3. really!! says:

I witnessed the first time and it was terrifying!! no respect or regard for life!! furthermore those boys dont even bother anyone!! They are subjecting those preschoolers to this nonesense!!

  5. The Dark Knight Returns says:

Why doesn’t the Governor over ride the police higher command’s decision to only arm certain first responders. All first responders (police) patrolling these days should be armed. If only a select few are armed the proper level of safety to the public is greatly outnumbered. This needs to change. I wouldn’t want to be an unarmed first responder in these what appear to be last days.

    • Shawn S says:

FYI The First responder was armed.

      • Ruthless says:

The first responders were probably first cause the other unarmed officers are not allowed into the shooting areas! Umjustsaying !!!

        • Ruthless says:

At least if I was an unarmed officer, I wouldn’t want to go in first

      • The Dark Knight Returns says:

Shawn S, you should take time to notice…… most of the first responders are unarmed officers. If a shooting happens in St. David’s none of the first responders are armed. This does not make any sense. I’ve been told if 40 first responders are working 32 are unarmed. Maybe to you that makes sense but to me that tells me the force cannot properly provide coverage to protect the public. To have armed officers speeding all over the country because most first responders cannot go to shootings just does not make sense and puts the armed officers and the public at risk. Meaning an accident can happen while speeding from let’s say town to St. George’s.

        • Shawn S says:

@The Dark Knight Returns you should take note to notice to what i wrote, i was speaking about what happened last night.

All i was trying to do was tell you in a nice way that the officer was armed.

    • Let's Think About This... says:

I’m pretty sure that officers with firearms would be sent in first as that makes sense. No use sending a patrol officer into an incident unprepared to handle it.

And it’s not mandated that each officer is required to carry a firearms possibly because while Bermuda has had an increase in firearms incidences, it’s not high enough to justify every officer carry one. If that was the case, there would be much more firearms held by police than there are in the community. There are enough that at present, a few can respond at any given time, and there’s SWAT/tactical team. Once they’ve cleared the scene, the unarmed can come in and work.

Legalize drugs and the gangs will be cot off at the knees. See why cops, judges and prosecutors say legalize at http://www.leap.cc

    • comm says:

Legalizing drugs will not work in Bda period. It is not smart for us to do that. Bda is only 2 miles wide we should be able to stop drugs from coming in the island

    Gang warning shots -
more likely a couple of idiot gang members showboating -
Sooner or later the sickness and madness will catch up with them – unfortunately who will eventually fall victim to them
or will it be them from some one else.
    Bloody Shame.

  11. LOL(original tm and all that) says:

I really wish one of those rounds ricocheted off something and hit the shooter square in his a$$. Tired of this nonsense….

  12. 'nuff sa-d' says:

First, middle, and last responders need guns. Then you have the SWAT team go through and wipe them all out. Let’s fight fire with fire. If not just SIT back and wait for them to kill each other off and then maybe we can get back to the Bermuda that we all so desire.
