Open House Tonight: Ethiopian Orthodox Church
The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, Debre Ganet Immanuel Cathedral, is inviting residenrs to come and have a look at the beautiful hand-painted Ethiopian Orthodox Church Icons this evening [Dec 6] from 5.30pm to 9.00pm at their location on 16 Old Military Road in St George’s.
This open house coincides with tonight’s National Trust Christmas Walkabout in St George’s, with the East End set to be a hub of activity as the festive season gets underway.
A spokesperson for the Church said, “We will also have a stand at the ADHT [African Diaspora Heritage Trail] presentation at Pilot Darrell’s House in Pilot Darrell Square.
“We will be serving Traditional Ethiopian food samples. There will also be a shuttle bus available to take you to the Church and return you to the square. Look forward to seeing you all.”
