Students Say “Thank You” To Somerset Police
Students from Sandys Secondary Middle School recently visited the Somerset Police Station to present the officers with gift baskets to show their appreciation this holiday season for the work they do to keep our communities safe.
“The Bermuda Police Service would like to say thank you to the students and facility for their kindness during this the Yule Tide season,” a police spokesperson said.
The students handed over three baskets of baked goodies and handmade Christmas cards to the officers, and Insp Markland Telemaque [in white shirt] accepted on behalf of the Bermuda Police Service.

Surely it would have been a better idea for the students to donate to rest homes or needy families in the West End.
Point of information, various advisories from Sandys visited the elderly, Rest Homes, and places that serve the West End community… ie. the Police Station. Students sang Christmas Carols and delivered baskets. We are committed to developing students to become responsible citizens in an ever changing Local and Global society.
The challenge for 2014, is less talk more positive action. If you are not part of the solution ….
