Chewstick Anniversary Show To Kick Off Tonight
The Chewstick Foundation is celebrating its 11th anniversary with a show this weekend at The Earl Cameron Theatre at City Hall.
Starting at 8pm each night, the show will feature a different lineup of artists in a relaxed format that will introduce audiences to the range of talented storytellers that have contributed to, and benefited from The Chewstick Foundation’s work.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet fellow supporters, purchase artwork, EP’s, chap books, CD’s and other items produced by local artists as well as to meet and interact with individuals and organizations that have worked with The Chewstick Foundation over the years.
Friday and Saturday are different shows and Chewstick is offering a discount on tickets purchased from their headquarters for both nights. Tickets are $30 for general admission, $100 for patrons and $20 for students. Please call 292-2439 for more information.

All the best Chewstick, happy 11th Anniversary…can someone come to ‘purchase artwork, EP’s, chap books, CD’s and other items produced by local artists as well as to meet and interact with individuals and organizations that have worked with The Chewstick Foundation over the years.’ without actually attending the event?
You can come to the after party on saturday, come out to an open mic night, any advertised events or hit up chewstick. They always sell merchandise and can link to any artist you wish.
Awesome! Congratulations Chewstick! I can’t wait to see the show, I know both nights are going to be BOASTY!
I’ve never heard of an organization celebrating its 11th anniversary
11 is a prime number maybe it has some significance to Chewstick
I think they celebrate an anniversary every year.
so in other words its an annual concert
thanks for the clear up
They pretty much said it is a make or break concert since a main donor left the island. Hope they make it – its a great venue for performers of all types.
This evening’s show was fantastic! Looking forward to Saturday’s show!
Well done!
