Bermuda Ball Hockey: Flames Defeat Arenas
Only one game was on tap at the PCC Hockey Rink in Bermuda Ball Hockey Association action, with the Atlanta Flames defeating the Toronto Arenas 7 – 3.
At the end of the first period the teams were locked at 2 – 2. The Atlanta Flames got goals from Brian Flynn and Matt Benson, while the Toronto Arenas got goals from Cam Poland and Shannon Gosse.
The Atlanta Flames scored four unanswered goals in the second period, Benson scored his second goal of the game, while Jeff Loper, Tom Washington and Jace Cowan added a goal each as the Atlanta Flames took a 6 – 2 lead.
Only two goals were scored in the third period, with Jon Talbot scoring for the Toronto Arenas and Benson recorded his hat-trick with the final goal of the game.
