Training Accident Leaves Police Officer Injured
A police officer was participating in a training course when he lost control of his cycle and ended up a marsh area just after noon today [Feb 21],
A police spokesperson said, “Police responded to a report of a road traffic collision that took place a few minutes after 12.00pm today.
“It appears that an officer was participating in a training course for Police Motorcyclist, when the officer lost control of his cycle and ended up in the marsh area just east of Barnes’ Corner.
“The officer was transported via ambulance to the hospital with what appears to be non-life threatening chest injuries. Inquiries into this matter are ongoing.”

First of all I hope the officer is fine. Having said that . I hope the officer learns to ride soon because riding like that won’t catch nobody. LOL
Let’s all try to be kind with your comments. These officers go through some very rigorous training in order to respond to crime in keeping our communities safer. My prayers go out the the officer and his colleagues, with wishes of a speedy recovery.
I’m sure everyone is hoping that he is okay…..According to reports his injries are not life threatening…..In a few weeks time HE will be laughing at this incident himself…..And I’m sure his training buddies will be cracking jokes as well……

This will be the same fellow in a year or two that will along with his mates be racing around at high speed like teenage pack racers, pulling over you and I to write tickets and give lectures for speeding! SMDH!

He was very fortunate there arebig moray eels in that marsh, over six feet, maybe nine or ten feet.Historicly people used to swim there and every now and then they would go missing.Apparently the eel would come up from underneath and pull them under and hold them down….awww you saw vuass bubbles!Thank goodness gracious and all her west end family this officer is ok….
