BSOA Set To Open 4 New Exhibits Next Month

March 27, 2014

The Bermuda Society of Arts will be opening four new exhibits with a reception on Friday, April 4 from 5.00pm to 7.00pm.

The new exhibits will include the Onions Gallery, the Edinburgh Gallery, Studio A, and Studio B.

A spokesperson said, “The students of Bermuda College take over the Onions Gallery with a multitude of talent and inspiration. The next generation of artists showcase their work in this year’s Bermuda College Show. Be prepared to be surprised.

“In the Edinburgh Gallery, Alia Hamza brings a candidness to her work that opens up a journey of self discovery to the viewer, a celebration of one’s self in the now, appreciating whatever they are at any given moment.

“Studio A will feature recent works by Deondre Cumberbatch. Deondre is one of the most popular young artists here at BSoA; her work is full of insights into her life and the world around her. Her new show is definitely not one to be missed.

“Studio B will include collective works by Milton Hill and Ami Zanders. Milton and Ami often collaborate together to create beautiful pieces in wood and textile. Their works compliment each other well, in a balanced mixture of texture and design.

“These shows will run for three weeks before closing on Tuesday, April 22 at 4.00pm.”
