Bermudian Honour Students Inducted Into STTI
Three Bermudian students have been inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing [STTI], a group that requires that inductees be in the top 15 percent of their respective classes.
Angelita Trott, Khamani Fox, and Dunae Richards are all senior students at the University of Barry in Miami, Florida; all three are getting set to graduate this year.
STTI boasts more than 130,000 active members across 85 countries, representing some of the brightest minds in health care.
Founded in 1922, Sigma Theta Tau International [STTI] – with members in approximately 490 chapters throughout 85 countries – supports the learning, knowledge, and professional development of nurses making a difference in global health.

Membership is by invitation to baccalaureate and graduate nursing students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship and to nurse leaders exhibiting exceptional achievements in nursing.
Of STTI’s 130,000 members, 39 percent hold master’s and/or doctoral degrees, 51 percent are in staff positions, 19 percent are administrators or supervisors, 18 percent are faculty/academics, and 12 percent are in advanced practice.
