BFA To Hold End Of Season Symposium

April 24, 2014

On Saturday, April 26 the Bermuda Football Association [BFA] will host its fourth annual End of Season Symposium at CedarBridge Academy. Last year the keynote speaker was Mr. Jacques Crevoisier, who spoke on the topic “Global Trends.”

This year, the symposium will feature a panel discussion entitled “Should Under 12 Football Be Competitive?”. Panelists will include BFA National Academy director Richard Todd and guest coaches from our clubs.

The discussion will be moderated by Mark Wade the Chairman of the Player Development Committee.

In addition, those in attendance will review the 2013-2014 Appleby Youth Leagues and hear a presentation from Bermuda’s first and only FIFA licensed player agent, Andre Pacheo.

The day will start at 9.00am and will continue into the afternoon with a full lunch provided.

The BFA symposium forms a vital part of coaching education as well as allowing coaches to come together in order to discuss football and play a role in shaping the new season that will begin in September 2014.
