Hamilton Welcomes Second Cruise Ship Of 2014
The City of Hamilton welcomed its second cruise ship of the year today [Apr 22], with the Regatta sailing in early this morning with some 1000 passengers and crew.
According to the cruise ship schedule, the Regatta is carrying an estimated 709 passengers and 386 crew. One of the island’s occasional callers, the 594ft ship is also scheduled to visit St. George’s in October.
The flagship of the Oceania Cruises fleet, the Regatta offers four open seating restaurants, a fitness center and spa, eight lounges and bars, a casino, 342 lavish suites and more.
Bermuda also has another occasional visitor in port today, with the 642ft Silver Spirit docked in St. George’s.
