Triathlon: Kent Richardson Wins In Costa Rica

tri140401.jpgKent Richardson stood on the podium after winning his Age Group category during the Xterra Olympic Distance Triathlon in Costa Rica recently.

Richardson recorded a winning time of 3:25:42 to win the Male 55 – 59 Category in the event, which was held in Playa Conchal on March 29th.

Richardson completed the swim in a time of 26:04, he then completed the bike course in a time of 2:05:50 and then recorded a time of 50:35 on the run course.

This is the third international win for Bermuda’s triathletes recently, following after Karen Smith’s age group victory in the Los Cabos Ironman Triathlon in Mexico, and a big win from professional triathlete Tyler Butterfield at the prestigious Abu Dhabi International Triathlon in the United Arab Emirates.
